SURVEI DAN EKSKAVASI BONTO-BONTOA, BANTAENG TIMUR: INVESTIGASI AWAL

Abstract
Tulisan ini menjabarkan hasil ekskavasi dan survei di situs Bonto-bontoa kabupaten Bantaeng yang dilakukan Oleh Puslit Arkenas dan Balai Arkeologi Ujung Pandang pada tahun 1998. Melalui hasil analisis bentuk, desain pola hias, dan analisis morfologis disimpulkan bahwa pertama kita dapat memperoleh informasi penting berkenaan dengan watak dari situs tersebut. Kedua dengan berdasarkan kajian banding atas bentuk dan desain manik-manik dapat diketahui unsur penanggalan relatif situs. Ketiga hasil surfei muka tanah pada situs-situs pemukiman tetangganya, sekurang-kurangnya kita mempunyai analogi untuk mengembangkan hubungan antara situs terdekat.
