In the same year, it was accredited by Sinta Level 2 with number 10/E/KPT/2019 by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (RISTEKDIKTI) of the Republic of Indonesia.

Starting in 2023, the Management of the Walennae: Journal Arkeologi Sulawesi Selatan dan Tenggara, which was previously under the auspices of the Balai Arkeologi Sulawesi Selatan, will be transferred under the auspices of the Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University.
